Our Purpose

We strive to fulfill five main purposes.

1 - Exalting God

We Exalt God the Father through Praise and Worship. Our God is an awesome God. He deserves our highest praise.

2 - Encountering People

We encounter people through fellowship. We work towards creating an open, welcoming atmosphere where we can all come together as Christians.

3 - Empowering Believers

We empower believers through discipleship. We believe that Christian Education through Bible Study, Sunday School and Small Groups are all essential parts of growing in our faith and supporting one another.

4 - Employing Our Gifts

We employ our gifts through our ministry. The Bible tells us that we have all been given different spiritual gifts by God. God works through all of us and we encourage and believe in allowing individuals to employ their gifts within our ministry.

5 - Evangelizing the Lost

We are called by Christ to "Go forth and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." We desire to be intentional in spreading the good news of Christ both locally and internationally.

What We Believe

1. The Scripture Inspired

Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

  • 2 Timothy 3:15-17
  • 2 Peter 1:21

2. The One True God

The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent "I AM," the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

  • Matthew 28:19
  • John 14:16-17

3. The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

  • Philippians 2:9-11

His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary work on the cross,

His bodily resurrection from the dead, His exaltation to the right hand of God.

4. The Fall of Man

Man was created good and upright; for God said, "Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness." However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.

  • Genesis 1:26,27
  • Genesis 3:6

5. The Salvation of Man

  • Romans 8:16
  • John 3:3

Conditions to Salvation = repentance + justified by grace through faith

Evidence of Salvation = inward witness of the Spirit. + outward evidence of righteousness and true holiness.

  • Acts 10:44-46

The enduement of power for life and service.

This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth.

With it comes  an overflowing fullness of the Spirit, a deepened reverence for God, an intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work, and a more active love for Christ, for His Word and for the lost

8. The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Ghost

Speaking with other tongues

  • Acts 2:4
  • 1 Corinthians 12:4-10

which is evil, and of dedication unto God.
